Sagem myC-3b Review
The Sagem myC-3b is the first attempt by Sagem to enter the fashion phone market segment. Clearly pitched to female users it is designed to be a little bit feminine if not even "girlie".
As a fashion phone it does not really need to be technically advanced so the features of the Sagem myC-3b are rather average if not moderate. It is a Dual-band GSM 900/1800 phone supporting GPRS, WAP and SMS, EMS, MMS messaging, PC connectivity via serial port. The dimensions of the Sagem myC-3b as well as the battery life are around the average too, being 81 x 51 x 22,5 mm, weight: 85 g and up to 8 days in standby time and up to 4 hours in talk time.
It does support games so it is likely to support Java. The Mobile Fun side of the phone includes polyphonic ringtones, customisable wallpaper, screensavers, "bio-features". The inner screen of the Sagem myC-3b is however impressive having high resolution colour 65 536 colours, 128 x 160 pixels.
In their marketing Sagem emphasises the look, the fashion side, the elegancy, seductiveness, sensuality and the aesthetic appeal of in the design of the phone. Well, ultimately it is a matter of personal taste. Compare Sagem myC-3b with Siemens Xelibri 6 and Panasonic G70 developing the same line and decide for yourself. It seems however that at the end the price will be the ultimate decider.
Mobile phones marketed under names Bird SC14 and Fly SC14 are complete clones of the Sagem myC-3b.
