Panasonic X400 Review
Available from Q3 2004 the Panasonic X400 is extremely small and lightweight but yet feature packed clamshell phone. In fact Panasonic pitch this phone as the thinnest clamshell currently available.
The Panasonic X400 features Dual-band GSM 900, GSM 1800 MHz GPRS, WAP, Java Wireless technology. With standard 600mAh Lithium-ion battery it provides up to 4.5 hours of talktime and 210 hours of standby time.
Measuring 84.3 x 47.4 x 17.5 mm it is indeed very thin and weights with battery just 84 g. The handset is available in Red, White and Black designs and features a push button opening mechanism with a button on the side of the phone releasing the lid allowing it to open.
The elegantly designed handset features a TFT LCD display size 128 x 128 pixels, 65K (16 bit) colours. The phone has an inbuilt VGA 640 x 480 pixels resolution camera that uses the main screen as a viewfinder and a mirror located below the aperture is available for self-portraits.
The Mobile Fun features include Java support as well as polyphonic ringtone providing 16 chord (16 voice) polyphony.
