NEC e313 Review
The NEC e313 is a candy bar format phone technically very similar to the NEC e616 clamshell. Aimed at the budget end of the market the NEC e313 is nevertheless is a solid 3G phone packed with all features needed to provide a complete 3G experience. It is an excellent cost-saving solution for 3G networks and might be particularly attractive for new customers who do not want to splash out large sums of money on the phone itself. It had been conviniently stripped off of all "frills" like Bluetooth or polyphonics leaving only the essential 3G functionality. In other words it is a perfect entry-level 3G phone.
Measuring 146x54x20.4mm and weighing 146 grams, this phone is not very compact. It is a bit bigger than the NEC e616 and roughly the same size as the Motorola A925. It also has a Dual-band support along with UMTS (3G).
On the multimedia front the NEC e313 is offering video capture, playback and send capabilities, so your introduction to video mobile couldn’t be simpler. The NEC e313 comes with a swivelling VGA resolution camera, video calling and a large 240x176 pixel colour display.
The only truly advanced feature of this phone is an inbuilt GPS (global positioning system) functionality allowing you to get your current location with fantastic accuracy.
