Motorola V180 Review
Anounced on the 5 February 2004 the Motorola V180 essentially is a simplified version of Motorola V220. Unlike its seniour counerpart it has no camera and no haptics. All the rest is pretty much the same. The Motorola V180 is designed to be a lightweight, low cost, stylish phone designed to for the budget end of the market.
It measures 86x45x25mm and weighs 92 grams, with a 128x128 pixel colour screen in 65k colours. There is a small external display 96x32 pixels.
The Motorola V180 is a Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 with GPRS(4+2) and WAP 2.0 with 1.6 Mb of memory for applications and data.
The fun side of the phone is quite impressive as well since it supports Java games and applications, MIDI, WAV and MP3 polyphonic ringtones. The Motorola V180 allows peer-to-peer games over GPRS and SMS and it also supports Instant Messaging, MMS, EMS and Nokia Smart Messages, has a built-in MIDI ringtone mixer, speakerphone and downloadable themes to personalise your Motorola V180.
You can synchronise the Motorola V180 to a PC with a USB cable, and there is an optional FM radio and car kit too.
